Koblenz, the place to stay – at virtually no other time of the year is this statement as true as at Christmas time!

Last year, over 300,000 domestic and international visitors were enthralled by our Rhine-Mosel city during the Christmas period.

The impressive Christmas fair of the City of Koblenz begins on 20th November with the formal opening at Jesuitenplatz. You can experience our traditional fair in a festive setting until 22nd December in the old city centre, ideally located directly on the city's pedestrian precincts and shopping streets.

A lavish entertainment programme (Christmas Vokal) awaits you in the courtyard of Town Hall II; there is a range of cultural activities on the streets and in the squares, e.g. on the stage in front of the Liebfrauen church, where Manfred Gniffke will narrate the Christmas story in our regional dialect.

Over 100 booths offer everything you need to celebrate Christmas: decorative arts and crafts, Christmas decorations and diverse culinary delights.

For the third time, the current Christmas fair will also be expanded in to the Liebfrauenkirche and Münzplatz area; families will be lured to the special attractions on the Münzplatz.
